Amy Bontrager, MS, LMHC

I graduated with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University in 2017 and have most of my experience working with concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationships, and self-exploration. I work from a narrative therapy lens with influence from CBT and ACT dimensions. I am trained in EMDR and have extensive experience with mental health crisis response and working with university students.

I enjoy working with individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and orientations. I believe that finding connection, to ourselves, to others, and to our environments is incredibly valuable to healing and crafting a life that we want for ourselves. I believe we’re all on a journey and at times need someone to walk with us as we navigate new or rough terrain. I would be honored to help support you as you consider new directions, past pains, and the journey in between.
