My name is Tyler Kronk. I am a licensed mental health counselor. I have had the privilege of working as a therapist since completing my graduate degree at Grace College in 2017. I have experience working with teens and adults to address anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship problems, trauma, gender identity concerns, unwanted viewing of sexual content, and grief. I enjoy working with people who come from a variety of orientations, identities, and spiritual or religious viewpoints.
My approach is collaborative, inviting you to bring your expertise about your life as we partner to work toward your goals. I draw from my studies and training to apply CBT, EMDR, IFS, DBT, Gottman Method, and attachment-based therapy to client care. No matter the approach we take, you can expect me to show up with curiosity, compassion, and active listening. I view creativity, non-judgmental awareness, and the client’s spirituality as helpful resources, which can be integrated along the way.
I believe the quality of our relationships with ourselves and the important people in our lives play a significant role in our well-being, and I enjoy witnessing these connections grow over the course of therapy. I believe all of us go through experiences that can be difficult to make sense of, evoke uncomfortable emotions, or bring weight that is too heavy to carry alone. I would be honored to accompany you on your journey as you explore how to move forward in light of past hurt, present struggles, and future possibilities.
